Rooks Creek Community Consolidated School District 425 Board of Education met July 10.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education held a regular school board meeting at the school, on Monday July 10, 2023. School Board President Kristen Hinz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call: Elizabeth Alvey, present; Angela Baldwin, present; Scott Drilling, absent; John Grampp, present; Kristen Hinz, present; Abby Rinker, present.

Superintendent, Todd Bean was also present.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Abby Rinker to approve the agenda. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Abby Rinker to approve the June minutes, Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to approve the June Treasurer’s Report. Roll call vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey, to approve the July payment of bills. Roll call vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Kristen Hinz, seconded by John Grampp to approve the FY 24 Handbook with changes. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve Press Policy Issue 112 as presented. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Angela Baldwin to approve the Science Curriculum as presented. Voice Vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Kristen Hinz to adjourn at 7:37 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.
