Village of Dwight Board of Trustees met Dec. 30.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
President Johnson called the meeting to order at 9:00AM and asked for a roll call.
PRESENT: Paul Johnson, Village President; Marla Kinkade, Trustee; Jenny Johnson, Trustee; Brian Berta, Trustee; and Randy Irvin, Trustee; and Pete Meister, Trustee
ABSENT: Justin Eggenberger, Trustee
OTHER Village Officials in Attendance: Crissy Livingston, Village Administrator; Mike Nolan, Police Chief; and Nick Ehrgott, Village Attorney
PRESIDENT’S REPORT
President Johnson expressed his concerns for services that the Village is unable to provide due to lack of resources needed.
PUBLIC FORUM
Residents brought up concerns regarding any known drop offs, enforcement practices, extra policing and alert services to notify residents, if needed.
VILLAGE REPORTS
Chief Nolan reported that on December 27 a bus with approximately 50-60 passengers had stopped at Loves truck stop in Dwight. All passengers reboarded and continued northbound on Interstate 55. He reported the buses are targeting Metra stations for these drop offs. He reported that residents need to have the mindset of “see something / say something.”
ORDINANCES / RESOLUTIONS:
A proposed Resolution Authorizing Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement. Trustee Irvin made a motion, with a second from Trustee Johnson, to approve the amendment as proposed. Roll call. All voted aye. Motion carries, 5-0.

A proposed Intergovernmental Agreement Establishing An Ordinance to Implement Rules and Regulations for Stopping, Standing, Parking and the Discharge of Passengers of Unscheduled Intercity Buses Within the County of Grundy and Village of Dwight. Authorizing Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement. Trustee Irvin made a motion, with a second from Trustee Meister, to approve the as proposed. Roll call. All voted aye. Motion carries, 5-0.

Finding no further business, President Johnson requested a motion to adjourn. A motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Irvin with a second by Trustee Johnson. All voted aye by voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 9:48AM.
