On Thursday, January 4, former O'Fallon Township High School standout, Shannon Dowell’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 52-64 in their NCAA D1 game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place in Nashville, Tennessee. This was the first matchup against the Belmont Bruins this season.

The Illinois State Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 6 at 2 p.m. in Murray, Kentucky.
