Village of Cullom Board of Trustees met March 27.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Meister/Mills made the motion to appoint Krause Mayor Pro-tem in the absence of Mayor Hahn. All voted in favor and M/C

Krause called the March 27,02024 regular Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 7:01p.m. at the Village Hall.

Members Present: Flessner, Mills, Jehle, Berens, J. Meister, and Krause

Also Present: None

Absent: Hahn, Rock, K. Meister and Lovell

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag

Minutes: Motion to accept, by consent agenda, the February 27, 2024 Regular Meeting minutes was made by Mills/Berens - M/C

Motion to accept by consent agenda, the March 13, 2024 Ordinance Committee Meeting minutes was made by Meister/Jehle - M/C

Public: None

Attorney Report: Proceeding with the South Ash St purchase by first annexing the property into the village

Maintenance Report:

High Service Pump has been sent to General Pump in Peoria and is projected to be completed in April

Metro, the company running fiber optic line through Cullom, has only one more bore left to finish

Seasonal branch pickup will resume on April 19, 2024. A rules and guidelines will be posted

Iso-Fire Hydrants flow testing and information on water distribution system has been completed and sent in

Clerk Report: Meister/Jehle made the motion to pay the monthly bills with the exception of check #5945 to Haley Brothers for $1,769.17 and check #5943 to 120 Water Audit Inc. for $5,000 until there is further explanation of billing; totaling $42,752.04. All voted in favor by voice vote and M/C

Treasurer Report: Berens/Mills made the motion to accept the treasurer report as presented. All voted in favor and M//C

Finance Report:

2024 Goal were set

Water NSF will be discussed at a future meeting Non-Sanctuary Village status was discussed

Old Business:

Water Tower - Waiting for EPA to finalize paperwork Un-Sewered Community Grant - No Report Property Leins - No Report

Iron Tank Replacement Project - Goes to bid in April Cell Service - Still investigating possible options Village Zoning Map - No Report

MFT Street Project - No Report as to when work will begin

Tile Rehab/Repair Project - Survey has been completed

Farm Lease - Has been signed by Belletown Farms

IDNRI Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant - Focus will be the main part of the village park

Contract for Property Purchase - See Attorney Report

New Business:

Addendum to Ordinance 2022-C to include NSF fee charge - Table to next meeting Donations Prom Committee ad Casino Night - Jehle/Berens made the motion to donate the same amount as last year

None
