Village of Cullom Board of Trustees met April 11.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Mayor Hahn called the April 11,02024 Special Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 5:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. 

Members Present: Hahn, Flessner, Jehle, Berens, J. Meister (Facetime), Krause, and Rock 

Public: None 

Old Business: 

Addendum to Ordinance 2022-C to include NSF fee charge - All voted in favor by voice vote. M/C Flessner signed and sealed the paperwork 

Closing for Property Purchase - South Ash St Extension - Sale has been completed and all papers filed 

Board Entered into Executive Session at 5:19 p.m. Motion Made by Rock/Krause M/C 

Board Resumed Regular Meeting at 5:45 p.m. Motion Made by Krause/Rock M/C 

New Business: 

New Employment of Village Staff was made as follows: 

Rock/Berens made the motion to hire Tim Hamilton on a 1-year contract starting May 1, 2024 at a rate of $300 per month to act as the village water plant operator. M/C 

Jehle/Rock made the motion to hire Jordan Spangler for day-to-day water operations at a rate of $20.00 per hour starting on April 15, 2024 if possible. M/C Meister/Krause made the motion to hire Ryan Reiniche for mowing and brush pickup at a rate of $15.00 per hour starting May 1, 2024. M/C 

Berens/Rock made the motion to hire Milissa DuVall to do all LOCIS 

Management at a rate of $15.00 per hour with no more than 15 Hours per week. M/C. 

Any Other Business: 

120 Water: The information will be placed on a jump drive and the EPA will be asked to place it on their website. The Clerk was advised to mail the 120 Water Check that was withheld last month 

Lovell is checking on the copper/lead testing 

Lovell is taking care of the CCR 

The yard at 506 West Jackson where the water main was broken will be repaired and the village has been advised that Metro will pay the repair bills
