The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team is set to face Carroll University in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin match. The game will take place on Saturday, October 7, at Schneider Stadium in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with a kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan currently holds a record of 1-10-1 overall and is winless in conference play with a record of 0-3-1. Their most recent outing resulted in a narrow 1-0 defeat against Augustana College on Wednesday, October 4. During that match, the Titans had ten shot attempts compared to thirteen by the Vikings. Junior Madalyn Buxton made her goalkeeping debut and recorded five saves.

Buxton also scored recently for the Titans during their 2-1 loss to Wheaton College on September 30. Other players who have found the net this season include juniors Tegan Timerman and Amanda Yaeger, along with freshmen Sophie Lampert and Ava Mapes. Mapes leads the team with two goals.

Historically, Illinois Wesleyan has been successful against Carroll University, holding a series record of 7-1-2 since their first meeting in 2009. In their last encounter on November 2, 2022, the Titans defeated the Pioneers with a score of 4-0. In that match, Timerman scored twice while sophomore Sawyer White contributed an assist.
