For the second consecutive year, Illinois Wesleyan University will host the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Softball Tournament at Inspiration Field. The tournament is scheduled from May 9 to May 11, featuring six teams. Games will commence on Thursday, May 9, with four matches starting at noon. Three games are planned for Friday, May 10, while the championship game is set for Saturday, May 11, at 12 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan's team enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed after securing a regular season record of 27-10 overall and a conference mark of 13-3. Their tournament journey begins with a game on Thursday evening at 4 p.m., facing off against either Millikin or Carthage based on the outcome of their earlier match.

The Titans boast impressive performances from several players this season. Freshman Hailey Milgazo leads with a .467 batting average and tops the team in hits and stolen bases. Junior Jen Kuhn has driven in 43 runs and holds high slugging and on-base percentages. Sophomores Anna Beckman and Casey Wissmiller have also contributed significantly with strong batting averages.

On the pitching side, sophomore Gianna Certa stands out with a 1.34 earned run average across her appearances this season.

Ticket prices for each day of the tournament are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, students, and children aged six to fourteen. Children five years old and under can attend free of charge.
