Illinois Wesleyan University senior Emma Thorman has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Golfer of the Week. This marks her fifth career honor and her first since before the conference championship in October.

Thorman, from Macomb, Illinois, was recognized after being the top finisher for Illinois Wesleyan in three out of four tournaments since the last award. She earned medalist honors at the CCIW Championship with rounds of 74, 74, and 70, leading her team to victory.

Following that success, she tied for eighth at the Golfweek October Classic with scores of 74, 74, and 73. The team finished fourth overall. In spring competition, Thorman tied for 15th at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona, with rounds of 72 and 74. She concluded spring break by sharing a 23rd-place finish at the NCAA Division II Augustana Spring Fling.

The Titans will compete next at the WashU Spring Invite on April 6-7 at Crescent Farms in Eureka, Missouri.
