The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team concluded its spring break trip by competing in the Augustana Spring Fling at Desert Willow Golf Club. The tournament, held on March 5, saw IWU secure a seventh-place finish with a final round score of 307 on the par-72 course.

Senior Lexi Onsrud led the Titans with an impressive one-over-par 73 in the final round, moving up 27 spots to tie for 10th place. This marked the largest climb of any player during the event. Junior Macy Ludwig and senior Emma Thorman also performed well, finishing tied for 19th and 23rd respectively.

Overall, Illinois Wesleyan was one of three teams with five players in the top-35 positions, alongside Augustana and Westminster. The host team Augustana won the tournament with a total score of 627. Hawaii-Hilo and Lubbock Christian finished second and third respectively.

On the same day as the tournament's conclusion, the Women's Golf Coaches Association released its latest Division III Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. Illinois Wesleyan was ranked tied for 12th along with Wellesley College.

The Titans are scheduled to compete next at the WashU Spring Invite from April 6-7 at Crescent Farms in Eureka, Missouri. This event will be part of three consecutive weekends of competition for IWU.
