The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team secured sixth place at the Westbrook Invitational held in Peoria, Arizona. The Titans completed the tournament with a final round score of 302 on the par-71, 5810-yard course on Sunday, March 10. Their overall score for the 36-hole event was 596, with two players finishing in the top-20.

Illinois Wesleyan distinguished itself as one of only two schools to have five players finish within the top-30 individually. Senior Emma Thorman from Macomb tied for 15th place after scoring a three-over-par 74, bringing her total to 146 for the tournament. Junior Macy Ludwig from Effingham tied for 19th with scores of 71 and 78, totaling 149.

Juniors Jadyn Spinks from Bloomington and Jacque O'Neill from Harbor Springs both tied for 25th place. O'Neill recorded Illinois Wesleyan's best round of the day with a two-over-par score of 73. Senior Lexi Onsrud from Normal shared the 29th position with scores of 76 and 78, totaling 154.

The team title went to Redlands, which finished with rounds of 289 and 291 for a total score of 580. Claremont Mudd Scripps came in second with scores of 284 and 298, totaling 582. Emory placed third by having five individuals in the top-25 and scored a total of 584 (290-294). Mackenzie Toole from George Fox claimed medalist honors by posting consecutive below-par rounds for a total score of 139 (70-69).

The Titans will continue their spring break trip by participating in the Augustana (SD) Spring Fling Invite in Palm Desert, California on March 14-15 at Desert Willow.
