With one round remaining, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team is tied for fourth place at the Golfweek October Classic. The event, held at Baytowne Golf Club in Sandestin, Florida, features 24 teams. On October 16, Illinois Wesleyan recorded a score of 307 on the par-72 course.
Pomona-Pitzer leads with a score of 583, followed by Carnegie Mellon and Centre in second and third positions. Illinois Wesleyan shares the fourth spot with Emory. Katelyn Vo from Pomona-Pitzer is leading individually with a score of 143.
Illinois Wesleyan seniors Emma Thorman and Lexi Onsrud both completed the day two-over-par, tying for sixth place overall with scores of 148 each (74-74).
