The Illinois State men's tennis team is set to compete at the ITA Midwest Regionals hosted by Michigan State University from October 10-14. This event marks the conclusion of their 2024-25 fall season.
In their previous outing, the Redbirds achieved four doubles victories and one singles win at the 67th Men's Collegiate Invitational in San Diego. Notable performances came from Jett Leong, Tomas Valencia (with two wins), and Caden Scarlett. The pair Adrian Dibildox and Tin Ostro secured a lone doubles victory.
Caden Scarlett and Tomas Valencia have been successful as a doubles pair, securing two flight championships early in the fall season. They claimed titles at both the River Forest Intercollegiate and on their home courts during the 7th Annual Redbird Invitational.
The upcoming competition will see participation from 15 schools including Illinois State, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Toledo, Cleveland State, Youngstown State, Eastern Illinois, UIC, DePaul, and Western Michigan.
