Illinois Wesleyan University senior golfer Griffin Pohl has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Golfer of the Week for the fourth time in his career. This recognition comes just a week after Pohl secured his first career victory. The announcement was made on Wednesday, October 16.

Pohl, hailing from Western Springs, Illinois, led the Titans to victory at the Wabash Fall Invitational held on October 7-8. He delivered an impressive performance with rounds of 66, 74, and 69 at the Broadmoor Country Club. His final round included an eagle and a birdie on the last two holes, following an ace on hole No. 4 using a pitching wedge from 156 yards. Pohl's efforts resulted in a career-low total score of 209 over 54 holes.

The Titans have concluded their fall schedule for the 2024-25 season and will resume play in spring. The CCIW weekly awards will also pause until March when they will continue for the remainder of the academic year.
