Woodland Community Unit School District 5 Board of Education met Sept. 17.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of the Woodland CUSD#5 held a Budget Hearing Meeting on September 17 2024, at 6:03 pm.  The meeting was called to order by Mr. Jeremy Adams

It was motioned by Eric Perhach and seconded by Rebecca Sterling to approve President Pro Temp for the meeting to Jeremy Adams.

5 yeas and 0 nays.  The motion carried

Answering roll call were:  Jeremy Adams, Eric Perhach, Chad Gilkerson, Rebecca Sterling and Alison Wissen

Absent was: Dan Reinmann and Eric Sass

Also, present were:  Dr. Ryan McGuckin, Superintendent; Mike Hoekstra, Facilities Director, Leland Brooke SRO 

It was moved by Eric Perhach and seconded by Chad Gilkerson to call The Public Hearing to Order for the July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 budget for Woodland CUSD #5.  Roll Call: all yeas, 5 yeas and 0 nays.  The motion carried

Dr. McGuckin provided the board with an update on the budget for Fiscal Year 2025

Questions or comments concerning the budget from the board and the public – there were none

It was moved by Eric Perhach and seconded by Rebecca Sterling to close The Public Hearing for the July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 budget for Woodland CUSD #5.  Roll Call: all yeas, 5 yeas and 0 nays.  The motion carried

It was moved by Eric Perhach and seconded by Alison Wissen that the Board of Education adjourn at 6:06 PM.  Roll call:  all yeas, 5 yeas and 0 nays.  The motion carried.
