The Illinois Wesleyan University men's track and field team participated in the St. Francis Fighting Chance meet at Joliet Memorial Stadium on May 10, 2024. The event was hosted by the University of St. Francis (Ill.). The Titans achieved two top-five finishes on the first day of competition.

Freshman Matt Lindberg from Springfield, Illinois, competed in the men's high jump. He cleared his opening height of 1.90 meters on his first attempt and set an outdoor personal best with a clearance of 1.95 meters, finishing fourth overall among 13 competitors. This performance places him in the program's all-time top-10 list.

In the relay events, the 4-by-400-meter team consisting of junior Alex Harvey from Galesburg, sophomore Evan Lowder from Bloomington, and freshmen Reece Dusek from Peoria and Tyrice Bender secured a first-place finish. They completed their race in 3:14.55, narrowly beating Olivet Nazarene University's team by two-tenths of a second.

The Titans will continue their participation in the St. Francis Fighting Chance meet on Saturday, May 11. Their schedule includes events such as the men's pole vault at noon and races in both men's and women's categories for the 800m, as well as men's 200m and 400m dashes.
