Due to forecasted weather conditions across the Midwest, Illinois Wesleyan University's men's and women's track and field meet, the IWU Invite, originally scheduled for Friday, April 26, has been canceled. The university also announced that it will not participate in the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, which were set for Thursday through Saturday, April 25-27.
The university's track and field teams will use this week to prepare for the upcoming College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Outdoor Championships. This event is scheduled to take place in Rock Island, Illinois on Friday and Saturday, May 3-4. Augustana College will host the championships at the Austin E. Knowlton Outdoor Athletics Complex.
