McLean County District Unit No. 5

A McLean County Unit District No. 5 Board of Education meeting was held Wednesday, September 25, 2024, beginning at -5:15pm (Sign up for public comments will be open from 4:00pm - 5:15pm) at the Unit 5 District Office, 1809 W Hovey, Normal, IL 61761.

1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

Members present: Mark Adams, Kentrica Coleman, Stan Gozur, Kelly Pyle, Amy Roser, Alex Williams, Jeremy DeHaai, Members absent: None

2. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION

At 5:35 p.m Coleman moved Pyle seconded to adjourn to closed session to discuss the following matter according to the exceptions provided in the Open Meetings Act and specified as follows: 2(c)(16) Self evaluation, practices and procedures or professional ethics, when meeting with a representative of a statewide association of which the public body is a member.

Roll Call: Ayes: Adams, Coleman, Gozur, Pyle, Roser, Williams, DeHaai. Nays: None. Motion carried.

Present in Closed Session via self-introduction and title: President Jeremy DeHaai, Secretary, Alex Williams and members: Mark Adams, Kentrica Coleman, Stan Gozur, Kelly Pyle, and Amy Roser. Also present, Superintendent Kristen Weikle and IASB representatives Lori Grant and Katie Bulava.

3. PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no public comments.

4. ADJOURNMENT

At 8:33 p.m. the Board adjourned. No action was taken during the closed session.
