Village of Dwight Zoning Board of Appeals met Nov. 19.

ROLL CALL

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: August 20, 2024

PUBLIC HEARING: 1. Zoning appeal for variance being filed by Charles Trainor, regarding property commonly known as 1 Gooseberry Lane, Dwight Illinois.

2. Zoning appeal for variance being filed by Richard Giles, regarding property commonly known as 507 5. Rout 66, Dwight, Illinois.

The request proposes:

1. A variance request for the above-referenced property, regarding a fence and brick columns of Section 14, Paragraph 3 of the Zoning Ordinance which states that no fence may be erected which exceeds six feet in height above ground level in a residential area. The applicant is requesting a variance to allow for columns and rear yard fences to be at seven feet in height at the said property located at 1 Gooseberry Lane, Dwight, Illinois.

2. A variance request for an increase of height limit for a Radio Tower by Richard Giles owner of 507 S. Old Route 66, Dwight under Section 4.16 of the Dwight Zoning Ordinance to allow for a Radio Tower with a request in the increase of height limit from 55 feet to 90 feet at the property commonly known as 507 S. Old Route 66, Dwight, Illinois.
