The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team is set to participate in the Warhawk Open this weekend from December 6-8 in Addison, Illinois. This marks the third occasion that the Titans will compete in this event and face off against hosts, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
The competition begins on Friday with the Singles Sweeper tournament at Stardust Bowl. Saturday's schedule includes five traditional games, followed by 16 baker games on Sunday.
In their most recent outing at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament #1, Illinois Wesleyan placed seventh. Junior Kiera Henderson achieved a personal best by finishing 19th overall with a score of 483 over three games.
During their last appearance at the Warhawk Open in the 2022-23 season, IWU finished 22nd out of 24 teams with a total pinfall of 6292. Mount Mercy secured first place with a total pinfall of 8659.
Results from this year's competition will be available after its conclusion on Sunday.
