The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team has achieved a significant milestone by securing the 19th spot in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll, as announced on December 10, 2024. This marks the first time since September 27, 2022, that the Titans have been ranked in the top-25.

Throughout the 2024 season, Illinois Wesleyan compiled an impressive overall record of 24-10 and maintained an undefeated streak in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) play with an 8-0 record. The team's success was highlighted by winning both the CCIW Regular Season and Tournament Championships. This performance led them to their eighth NCAA Tournament appearance, advancing to the Sweet 16 for only the second time in program history after defeating Franklin & Marshall and then-ninth-ranked Marietta. It was also notable for surpassing a benchmark of over 20 wins for the first time since 2018.

Juniata University topped this year's AVCA poll, receiving all 26 first-place votes following their third consecutive national championship win. They were followed by UW-Whitewater in second place after finishing as runners-up. Hope College, Johns Hopkins University, and UW-Oshkosh completed the top five rankings.

Millikin University was another CCIW school that featured in the rankings alongside Illinois Wesleyan, finishing at number ten.
