The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team held its annual banquet on January 12, 2025, to celebrate the achievements of the 2024 season. Head Coach Kim Nelson-Brown announced the recipients of various team awards and recognized 19 Titans with letters. The team had a successful season, winning both the CCIW Regular Season and Tournament Championships and reaching the NCAA Regional Championship.
Senior Abby Erdman from Aurora, Illinois, and junior Taylor French from Romeoville, Illinois, were named co-Most Valuable Players. French earned this honor for the second consecutive year after a standout junior season where she was recognized as an American Volleyball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-American. She led the team with 506 kills and set a program record with 89 aces.
Erdman also received her second career MVP award. As a co-captain, she played a crucial role in leading the team both on and off the court. She was second on the team in assists with 428.
Sophomore Eleanor Palmer from Chicago was awarded "Most Improved Player" for leading in blocks with 96. Senior Jessie Sariev from Schaumburg received the "Most Inspirational Player" award for overcoming a preseason injury while managing student teaching responsibilities.
Junior Halle Smith from Farina earned her first "Strength and Conditioning" award.
Coach Nelson-Brown also awarded letters to 18 student-athletes, with twelve expected to return for the next season.
