After a series of away games, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team is set to host Marian University on Tuesday, January 28th. The match will be held at the Shirk Center and marks the beginning of a seven-game home stretch for the Titans, who currently hold a 4-1 record.

The Titans recently experienced their first loss of the season against Aurora University. In that match, sophomore Bryce Williams led with six kills, while senior Vince DiCosola recorded 11 assists. Junior Jace Milka contributed eight digs.

Senior Ryan Myers and freshman Gavin Rohlwing have each accumulated 25 kills over five matches this season. Freshman Ethan Kuziela follows closely with 24 kills and averages 2.67 per set. On service aces, sophomore Brenden Reutter leads with seven, followed by Rohlwing and Kuziela with five each.

Defensively, Milka has achieved an average of 1.88 digs per set with a total of 32 digs. Myers is second on the team with an average of two digs per set and a total of 26 digs. Senior Jake Kougan leads in blocks with an average of one block per set.

The Titans' defensive strategies have proven effective as they rank eighth nationally in opponent hitting percentage, limiting teams to .108. Meanwhile, Marian University enters this contest undefeated at 5-0 after defeating Adrian College.

This meeting will be the second encounter between these teams since February 12, 2022, when Marian secured victory in four sets.
