In a competitive field of seven teams, including two top-20 ranked Division II teams, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team tied for fifth place after 36 holes at the Augustana (SD) Spring Fling Invite. The event took place at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. Over the course of two days, the Titans achieved a second-round score of 324 and a total score of 656.

Senior Jacque O'Neill from Harbor Springs, Michigan, finished tied for eighth while playing as an individual. She recorded the lowest score for her team with a total of 156, which was 13 over-par.

Another senior, Macy Ludwig from Effingham, Illinois, had the lowest round of the day at four over-par (76), tying for 12th overall with a score of 160. Ludwig notably birdied consecutive holes on both halves of today's round.

Senior Jadyn Spinks and sophomore Emily Gastrau both tied for 24th place with scores of 165 each.

The tournament saw No. 15 Rollins emerge victorious with a score of 612, eight strokes ahead of No. 16 Saint Leo who secured second place with a score of 620. Union College came in third with a total score of 647.

The Titans are scheduled to compete next at the WashU Spring Invite on March 22-23 at Crescent Farms in St. Louis, Missouri.
