The Illinois State men's tennis team concluded their Summit League Conference Regular Season with a decisive 5-2 victory against Oral Roberts at Evergreen Racquet Club. This win has brought their season record to 7-16 overall, and 2-3 in the Summit League.

"The Birds" initiated their triumph by securing the doubles point. Notable performances included Adrian Dibildox and Tomas Valencia winning at the No. 1 position, while Christian Capacci and Manuel Pavia achieved a victory against their opponents at No. 3 with a 6-3 score.

The momentum continued as the match advanced to singles competition. Tomas Valencia won against Filho of Oral Roberts with a 6-2, 6-3 finish. Adrian Dibildox added to the success at the No. 2 position with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-7 victory in a tense tiebreaker. At No. 4, Christian Capacci executed a 7-5, 6-1 win over Eli Brewer. Completing the sweep, Jett Leong overcame Aaron Brewer in a tiebreaker with a final score of 4-6, 6-2, 10-6.

The next challenge for the Birds is awaiting their entry into the 2025 Summit League Championships scheduled for April 18-19 in Denver, Colorado, organized by Denver University.
