A record-breaking performance by Macy Ludwig, a senior women's golfer from Illinois Wesleyan University, earned her the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Golfer of the Week award on April 16. This marks her sixth time receiving this league recognition.

Ludwig led her team, the Titans, to victory at the Wartburg Spring Invite held from April 4-5. During the event, she set a new personal best by shooting a six-under 66 in a single round at the Prairie Links Golf Course. Her performance included six birdies and an eagle on the final hole, the par-four, 316-yard 18th. Ludwig concluded the tournament second overall with a total score of even-par 144.

Throughout the current season, Ludwig has consistently placed in the top ranks, finishing in the top-five at four tournaments. She secured top-two positions on three occasions and has ranked inside the top-20 at seven tournaments.

Looking ahead, Ludwig and her teammates are preparing for the NCAA Division III National Tournament, which will take place next month in Williamsburg, Virginia.
