The women's golf team at Illinois Wesleyan University, ranked 18th nationally, has scheduled an additional tournament in preparation for the upcoming NCAA Division III National Championship. The team will participate in the Cardinal Classic, an event hosted by North Central College, on April 21 and 22. The tournament, which spans 36 holes, is set to take place at Bolingbrook Country Club.

Illinois Wesleyan will have eight players competing in the event, with some contending as a team and others as individuals. The team line-up includes junior Brooke Erhard, sophomore Emily Gastrau, freshman Grace Fagan, senior Jacque O'Neill, and senior Macy Ludwig. Freshman Caroline Carr, along with seniors Claire Ancevicius and Kylie Hundman, will compete individually.

Besides Illinois Wesleyan and host North Central College, other competitors include teams from St. Norbert, Lake Forest, Elmhurst, Augustana, Carthage, Washington University in St. Louis (WashU), North Park University, and Aurora University.

The first round is scheduled to commence with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 21. Tournament updates and live scores can be accessed through the Scoreboard powered by Clippd.
