City of Fairbury Zoning Board met May 20.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Present: Zoning Board Chairman Gerry Vance, Zoning Board members John Gavin, Seth Welch, Tom Bull, and James Tipton. Also present was applicant David Frambes and Zoning Administrator Nancy Widlacki.
Chairman Vance called the meeting to order and the reason for the Application for Variance was read aloud by Zoning Administrator/Secretary, Nancy Widlacki.
Application of David and Kelly Frambes, requesting a variance in area regulations of said Zoning Ordinance to permit an accessory structure to be built that exceeds size limitations; said property being described, to-wit: 25-25-03-487-003
LOT 100 X 150 LOTS 13 & 14 BLK 12 CITY OF FAIRBURY
Chairman Vance called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. A very brief question and answer period ensued with Member Tipton asking Mr. Frambes if the proposed accessory structure was going to be used for busness. Mr. Frambes stated no, that is not the intended use for the structure. Member Tipton questioned distances to lot lines and Mr. Frambes said the west side of the structure will be 5 1⁄2’ from lot line and it will be 15’ from the south lot line which is in compliance with the City of Fairbury zoning codes.
There being no more questions for Mr. Frambes, Chairman Vance asked for a voice vote: YES-Gavin, Welch, Bull, Tipton
The variance passed unanimously.
There being no further or other business to come before the meeting, the meeting adjourned at 6:08 p.m.
