McLean County Finance Committee met April 16.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

The Finance Committee of the McLean County Board met on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 5:10 p.m. in Room 404 of the Government Center, 115 E. Washington Street, Bloomington, Illinois.

Members Present: Chairman Jim Soeldner Members Catherine Metsker, Laurie Wollrab, Carlo Robustelli and Scott Murphy

Members Absent: Members Chuck Erickson and Jacob Beard

Other Members Present:

Staff Present: Mr. Bill Wasson, County Administrator, Eric Schmitt, Administrative Services Director; Ms. Jessica Woods, First Assistant State Attorney – Civil, Julie Morlock Recording Secretary; Trisha Malott, BHCC Supervisor

Department Heads/Elected Officials/Others Present: Camille Rodriguez, Health Department Director

Chairman Soeldner called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m.

With the Concensus of the Committee Ms. Becky McNeil, County Treasurer, presented her monthly reports to the Committee first. Ms. McNeil indicated that the only report she wanted to discuss was the Nursing Home report. She went over the numbers and indicated that as County Treasurer she was concerned with the cash balance and would discuss this further at the May Finance Committee meeting. Chairman Soeldner asked if there were any questions; hearing none he called the question.

Motion by Robustelli/Wollrab accept and place on file the McLean County Treasurer’s monthly reports.

Motion Carried.

Chairman Soeldner asked for a motion to go into CLOSED SESSION pursuant to section 2 (c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)) to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity.

Motion Carried.

Finance Committee entered closed session at 5:16 p.m.

Finance Committee entered open session at 5:24 p.m.

Chairman Soeldner presented a request to approve a Resolution Amending the Funded Full- Time Equivalent Positions Resolution for 2019 Fund 0007.

Motion by Robustelli/Wollrab to approve a Resolution Amending the Funded Full-Time Equivalent Positions Resolution for 2019 Fund 0007.

Motion Carried.

Chairman Soeldner asked if there was anything else to come before the Committee; hearing nothing, he adjourned the Special Finance Committee Meeting at 5:25 p.m.
