Village of Hudson Village Board met April 7.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

All participants will be attending the meeting remotely.

1. Call to order

3. Roll Call

4. Consent Agenda - All matters listed under CONSENT AGENDA are considered to be routine and non-controversial by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion and one roll call vote. There will be no separate discussion on these items. If discussion is desired by a Citizen or Trustee, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed immediately after approval of the Consent Agenda

a. Approval of open minutes (if needed) from the March 3, 2020 board meeting and the March 27, 2020 work session

b. Treasurer’s report and bills - Sara Hill

• Financial statement and payment of bills for March

5. Reports from:

Village President- Dave Brutlag

• Status of routine work

• Budget Discussion and Dates

• April water billing completed

• Lampert land swap public hearing May 5

• Garage Sales are postponed or cancelled

• Compensation for elected officials discussion Water and Public Property Superintendent- Jeff Waller Street and Zoning Inspector- Denny Engel Village Marshall- Dale Sparks Civil Defense Director- Jeff Thomas

6. Citizen’s hearing: 5-minute limit, name

7. Reports of standing committees:

Finance, Budget, Contracts and Employees Department- Trustee Don Gibson

Street Department- Trustee Phil Morris

• 2020 MFT budget

Ordinance and Zoning Department- Trustee Kathy Brooks

• Schedule of Planning Commission meetings

• Ordinance Pertaining to Local State of Emergency

• Declaration of Local State of Emergency

Police Department- Trustee Pat O’Grady

• Vote to transfer funds from payroll to building capital outlay for the cost of the police department safety barrier

Water Department- Trustee Joe Boyd

Public Property- Trustee Jim Campbell

Liquor Commissioner- Village President Dave Brutlag

8. Move into closed session (if needed)

9. Back into open session

10. Adjournment
