Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in McLean County?

There were 49 offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in McLean County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by McLean County Times.

The data shows that 39 men and 10 women were released in McLean County. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017, and the oldest was a 65-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was David M. Price. He was convicted of a property crime in 2005 when he was 39 years old. He is now 54.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
