ISU men's tennis returns for annual Redbird Invitational

NORMAL, Ill.-- The ISU men's tennis team will return home for the 7th Annual Redbird Invitational at Gregory Street Tennis Courts from September 20-21. The tournament will feature eight teams and be played in Davis Cup format, with each player expected to participate in one singles match and one doubles match each day.

The three-day invitational will include one singles match and one doubles match during each day of competition. Matches will begin at noon on Friday, with play continuing all day Saturday. The tournament will conclude on Sunday afternoon.

The 2024-25 7th Annual Redbird Invitational will include ISU (SUMMIT), Marquette (Big East), Eastern Illinois University (OVC), Washington University-St Louis (UAA), Eastern Kentucky (ASUN), North Dakota (SUMMIT), DePauw (North Coast Athletic Conference) and IUP (Horizon).

Caden Scarlett and Tom Bevan claimed the No. 1 doubles flight championship at the River Forest Invitational. ISU also secured nine victories in both singles and doubles play during the two-day event.

Next, the Redbirds will travel for the 67th Annual Men's College Invite in San Diego, California from September 26-29. They will conclude their fall schedule in East Lansing, Michigan at the ITA Regionals hosted by Michigan State University from October 10-14.
