The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) has announced the 2024-25 men's basketball conference schedule. The Redbirds will play one MVC game in early December, with the remaining 19 games scheduled from late December onwards.
The Redbirds' conference slate begins on Wednesday, December 4, when they travel to Nashville to face the Belmont Bruins. The second portion of Illinois State University's (ISU) MVC schedule starts on Sunday, December 29, with a home game against UIC.
Illinois State's home games are scheduled as follows: Sunday, January 5 (Southern Illinois); Saturday, January 11 (Northern Iowa); Saturday, January 18 (Missouri State); Tuesday, January 21 (Indiana State); Wednesday, January 29 (Belmont); Saturday, February 1 (Valparaiso); Wednesday, February 12 (Drake); Wednesday, February 19 (Bradley); and Sunday, March 2 (Evansville).
The State Farm MVC Tournament will commence on Thursday, March 6, with the championship game set for Sunday, March 9.
Illinois State's season opener is on Monday, November 4 when ISU hosts UT Martin at CEFCU Arena.
