NORMAL, Ill. -- The Illinois State University (ISU) men's tennis team concluded the Seventh Annual Redbird Invitational with a strong performance, securing eight singles victories and one win in doubles play on the final day of competition.

In the singles matches, Tomas Valencia, Caden Scarlett, Jett Leong, Tin Ostro, Adrian Dibildox, and Tom Bevan all emerged victorious. Valencia overcame a first-set loss to defeat EKU's Contreras by outscoring him 16-10 in the subsequent sets. Scarlett took the initial set against EKU's Kitchin 6-3 and finished with a decisive 10-4 in the third set. Leong and Bevan each secured straight-set victories against Eastern Illinois opponents, winning 6-0, 6-0 and 7-6, 6-3 respectively. Dibildox and Ostro followed suit with two-set wins over Marquette players.

The ISU team's success continued into doubles play as Leong and Bevan defeated EIU's Trocado/White pair with a score of 3-0. Scarlett and Valencia also clinched victory for ISU by winning the Flight B Championship over Eastern Kentucky with another 3-0 scoreline.
