The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team is preparing to wrap up its 2022 season at the Warhawk Open. The event will take place on December 3-4 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, at Rock River Lanes. Hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, the tournament follows a United States Bowling Congress format.

Recently, the IWU team participated in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament I from November 19-20. During this competition, they achieved eighth place overall and set two program records. Notably, they triumphed over Carroll University with a total pinfall of 740 compared to Carroll's 701. This score represents IWU's highest team baker match score since achieving a 640 at the Peacocks Classic on January 21, 2022.

Additionally, IWU recorded a single-game baker score of 176 against Carroll in game three out of five matches. This surpassed their previous record of 156 set on February 12 against Alabama-Birmingham.

Results from the Warhawk Open will be available on iwusports.com once the tournament concludes.
