The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team wrapped up the 2022 season at the Warhawk Classic, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Addison, Illinois. The team finished 22nd out of 24 varsity programs after two days of competition from December 3 to December 4.
The event, sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress, featured six traditional games on the first day and 16 baker matches in groups of four games on the second day. The Titans accumulated a total pinfall of 4070 in traditional games and added a final baker tally of 2222, resulting in a combined score of 6292.
Notably, during baker play, Illinois Wesleyan achieved a program-best single-game score of 190 against St. Ambrose University. This surpassed their previous record of 176 set at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament I on November 19.
The Titans will resume competition next month at the Peacocks Classic from January 20 to January 22, hosted by Upper Iowa University.
