City of Bloomington issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.
Connect Transit has partnered with the McLean County Health Department and will be offering a bus warming station on Thursday, January 24th and Friday, January 25th at the Downtown Bloomington Transfer Center. The bus warming station will be setup in the McLean County Health Department parking lot off Front St.
The bus warming station will be open from 5:00PM until 10:00PM which allows passengers waiting for their buses to stay out of the elements and avoid the frigid temperatures.
