The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams have successfully qualified four athletes for the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships. The event will take place in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on March 8-9. The announcement was made by the NCAA on March 3.

Freshman Imani Ogunribido from Hanover Park has secured her position in the women's triple jump. Ogunribido's leap of 12.07 meters won her the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin title, placing her sixth among all Division III competitors and tying a school record set in 2015.

Sophomore Adriana Crabtree from Normal will compete in the mile run. Previously qualified for outdoor nationals in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Crabtree earned her spot with a time of 4:56.63 at the Wartburg Qualifier, ranking her 12th among qualifiers.

Evan Lowder, also a sophomore from Bloomington, will make his debut at the national championships after winning the CCIW 400-meter dash title with a school record-breaking time of 48.47 seconds on a flat track. His converted time ranks him 10th nationally.

Freshman Adam Beasley from Bloomington qualified for the high jump with a clearance of 2.05 meters at the CCIW Championships, securing his place despite being part of a six-way tie for 12th nationally due to tie-breaking clearances.

The competition schedule includes preliminary rounds for IWU starting with the women's mile on Friday, March 8 at 2:35 p.m., followed by the men's 400-meter prelims at 3:25 p.m. On Saturday, events include the women's triple jump at 2:30 p.m., men's high jump at 3 p.m., women's mile finals at 4 p.m., and men's 400-meter finals at 4:40 p.m., all times Eastern.
