The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The event, scheduled from March 14 to 16, will take place at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium, which is also the venue for this year's outdoor national championship.

A total of twenty-three athletes from Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) will participate in 20 events over the weekend. The competition begins on Thursday, March 14, with junior Caitlin McCane and sophomore Adriana Crabtree competing in the women's javelin throw at 1 p.m. ET.

On Friday, sophomore Jahari Scott and freshman Carson Green will compete in the men's long jump at 10:30 a.m. ET. Sophomore Brooke Nazos will be the first Titan on the track for the women's mile at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Senior Josh Klein is set to compete in three events over the weekend. He will start with the men's discus throw on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET. Sophomore Abby Quinn will begin Saturday's track events with her participation in the women's 3,000-meter run at 10 a.m. ET.

The invitational features participation from 44 teams representing 13 states, Washington D.C., and Ottawa, Canada. Illinois Wesleyan is noted as the only school from Illinois participating in this event.
