The Illinois Wesleyan University men's volleyball team is set to conclude its series of home matches by hosting the IWU Triangular III on Sunday, February 9. This event will see the Titans, currently holding an 8-2 record, compete against Benedictine University and Wabash College.

Illinois Wesleyan will face Benedictine at 11 a.m., followed by a match against Wabash at 4 p.m. A neutral game between Benedictine and Wabash is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

The Titans aim to build on their recent success after defeating No. 19 Dominican University in a five-set match, marking their first win over a ranked opponent. Sophomore Brenden Reutter made history with the program's first triple-double, achieving 25 assists, 21 digs, and ten kills with a .438 attack percentage. Bryce Williams also excelled with a career-high of 20 kills on a .341 hitting efficiency.

Williams has been leading the offense this season with an average of 3.14 kills per set across ten matches. Freshman Gavin Rohlwing follows closely with an average of 2.29 kills per set and ranks among the top players nationally in attack percentage. Reutter has contributed significantly to the team's offensive statistics as well.

Reutter and senior Vince DiCosola have orchestrated Illinois Wesleyan's offense efficiently, maintaining impressive assist averages that rank them high nationally.

Defensively, junior Jace Milka leads in digs per set while Rohlwing tops the blocking charts both within their conference and nationally.

The upcoming match against Benedictine marks their third encounter, with Benedictine winning both previous matches in straight sets. Meanwhile, Illinois Wesleyan holds a slight advantage over Wabash College from past meetings but lost in their most recent encounter last year.

All three matches will be available via live stream commentary by Matt Sosler and Alex Bardouniotis.
