Uptown Normal will host its annual Treat Feast trick-or-treating event on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The event is designed to provide a safe environment for families and children to participate in Halloween activities.

To prepare for the event, several streets in Uptown Normal will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 4 p.m. on Thursday. These include East Beaufort Street from Linden Street to Uptown Circle, all of Uptown Circle, North Street from Fell Avenue to Uptown Circle, and Constitution Blvd. Parking restrictions will begin at 3 p.m. The streets are expected to reopen by approximately 7 p.m., depending on safety conditions. More details about the road closures can be found using the online map at https://arcg.is/jOiKn1.

Cyclists and other users of the Constitution Trail are advised to use alternate routes during the event due to increased pedestrian activity in Mark R. Peterson Plaza.

Treat Feast is free and open to all ages, with costumes encouraged for attendees. The event will take place regardless of weather conditions, so participants are advised to check the forecast before attending. Trick-or-treaters can move through Uptown Normal along any route they choose; there is no required starting point or lineup.

The Town of Normal presents Treat Feast with support from media sponsors WBNQ, B104, and WJBC. Further information about the event is available at www.uptownnormal.com/treatfeast.

For questions or additional information about accessibility or participation, contact Adam Fox at 309-454-9720 or afox@normalil.gov.

"All Town of Normal facilities are fully accessible.
